The e-commerce application has followed a code-first approach using Entity Framework, initially storing data in-memory for testing via Swagger and later in MS SQL as the final database. To improve performance in low-network areas, implemented the Progressive Web App (PWA) features, which allowed users to access the app even in low- or no-network conditions.
